So what do people think? The site re-design has actually been sitting mostly done for a while now, but I wanted to hold off on uploading it until I had a new comic to accompany it. If anyone spots any spelling or formatting errors, please let me know so I can fix them.
Icarus Creeps is the result of roughly a month of me having no clear idea what to do next after Nile, followed by about a week of solid work as lots of little ideas suddenly started falling into each other. I'm curious to know what people make of it (and, on a technical note, how smoothly the animation plays back, since I've only been able to test it on my machine).
Next up: Finishing my Vicious Souvenirs chapter before John kills me. _________________ New Experiments In Fiction
alright dan!
hmm, not too sure about your new site layout. tbh i preferred the old one cos it had colour and, err, stuff.
ok, not too scientific a reason but i know what i like when i see it also, if you're going for simplicity/accessibility why not dabble with some XHTML and CSS?
still, your work is really amazing and i love it so what the hell
> I preferred the old one cos it had colour and, err, stuff
Fair enough. I've just always had a thing for black & white. I wanted the new site to reflect the tone of the content a bit more, so I decided it was time to ditch the rainbow hues.

This is on my "to learn" list. Promise. _________________ New Experiments In Fiction

I'm not sure which is more disturbing, the new comics on your site or agreeing with a compliment from someone with an avatar of two hippos experiencing blissful coitus.
Oh, wait, I've got it. It's more disturbing living in America under the Bush Administration.
Anyway, again, nothing new here, I didn't see any misspellings, but it's all done in English instead of culturally superior American--we're like Giant Space Robots that have dominated the planet!
I like the interface for IC--sort of a metatexual reference (you had ideas floating around, he has ideas floating around). I think you and David Rees (Get Your War On!, Fighting) are channelling ghosts from the same mental hospital and it's all coming out BRILLIANCE!
I love Icarus Creeps. I think this along with Mr. Nile, Fever, and Sixgun may be some of your best work to date. I love how you take advantage of the web format to avoid the entire artwork having a set sequence (I know that is a hallmark of hyperfiction but I don't like most hyperfiction). I also really have a thing for I Bleed Scorpions. I think you should post any shorter, more conventional comics that pop into your head like that one. _________________ I really like the way you look

'lo Danny m8,
Just thought I'd also write in - the site's looking excellent BTW, although I'd use variable width tables (i.e. set table width to a percentage, as opposed to an arbitrary value). As my M.D. would say though, "content is king" (damn those business types and their special words), and the content on your site is always superb!
Keep it up anyways m8, I usually get bored at work so usually get to check up on what you've been doing. Nice one.
